 Link2it Corp. (http://www.link2it.com) helps companies solve their fax management problems by making documents from fax machines available electronically. Link2It contracted Blue Sky Labs to provide key hardware elements of their design, complimenting the work of their software development team. We also helped Link2It navigate complicated communications technology issues and setup manufacturing relationships.

    • About the Client
    Link2it's Fax2it and Scan2it appliances, the company's market-entry products, offer organizations a simple solution to fax management problems by making documents from fax machines accessible via e-mail and then archiving these documents according to the demands of the recipient. Both Fax2it and Scan2it are easy-to-use and operate as plug-and-go appliances with all existing fax machines. Both solutions also work cooperatively with document and record management software and fax servers.

    The Project
    Link2It has begun working with a hardware designer a few years before closing a round of startup funding. With the old technology being expensive and obsolete, Link2It turned to Blue Sky Labs to develop a flexible solution for interfacing their advanced communications solutions with legacy technology. We performed all design, aided in setting up manufacturing relationships, and helped Link2It achieve interoperability with complicated legacy technology.
