Blue Sky Labs has developed several new products for our clients. In the Virtual Visit Video Conferencing project, we simply provided a specific solution to complete a client's development efforts. In developing the Netwave Interferential Stimulator, we worked with the client through the entire process: developing a sense of the market opportunity, creating the initial feature specifications, writing the specification documents, and deciding on trade-offs. We worked closely with these clients to understand their customers' needs and their business goals. Our engineers enabled fast development, intelligent decisions, and visibility in to the process. The result was a solution that delivers value to end customers and renews profitability for our clients.

Hardware Design: Reducing Cost of Production
In the NTS2 Cost Redesign, Blue Sky Labs successfully reduced the client's cost of production by over 60%, enabling them to simultaneously lower prices, grow sales and increase profitability. We achieved lower costs by finding less expensive vendors, re- designing products to avoid expensive components, and manufacturability. One key driver in lowering costs was utilizing a general microprocessor that is powerful and manufactured in high volume. We then provided custom software to meet the client's needs, without the need for expensive specialized components. Using general hardware lowers cost, increases flexibility, and allows for low-cost feature upgrades.
